Southwold Common - 28th - 30th August 2026

Get ready to feel the beat by the sea! Southwold Sounds launches on England’s East Coast this August Bank Holiday weekend 2026, bringing a beautifully curated celebration of live music and seaside vibes to one of the UK’s most beloved coastal towns.

Across three relaxing days, this brand-new, family-friendly festival serves up an irresistible mix of music across a range of genres, with a hand-picked lineup of original artists and show-stopping tribute acts guaranteed to keep toes tapping and bodies swaying.

With two buzzing stages showcasing the best of local and national talent, plus festival fashion stalls, children’s entertainment, mouth-watering street food and bars from the Famous Last Stand get ready to enjoy Southwold Sounds as part of your visit to this convivial seaside town.

Please note there is no camping, motorhome or caravan space onsite at Southwold Sounds 2026. Visitors will need to book their own accommodation in town or at the many surrounding holiday parks.

Paying homage to the famous Sellindge Steam Fair, Steam Field is a hot stoking new live music weekender of country, blues soul & rock n roll. Two stages, featuring local, national and international acts together with festival fashion stalls, street foods and bars of distinction from the Famous Last Stand.
